Sundays at 9 and 11am
Gatherings are a time of celebration and contemplation at the church.
Because of who God is and all He has done, we always have a reason to celebrate Him. We, as the church, gather each week expecting Him to meet us, desiring Him to change us and allowing Him to confront our lives with His truth.
The songs sung, the truth taught from God's Word, the surroundings, the prayer, and the people all play a part in shaping each gathering. But most importantly, each gathering is influenced by the presence of God Himself and the movement of His Holy Spirit.
We are not about "religion" but rather "relationship". Our desire is that all those who attend the church at Maltby during a weekend gathering will experience that relationship with God.
Come and connect with Christ and with others. You will be welcomed!
Jesus Christ said He is the truth. The Bible, God's message to us, is packed with truth on every page. This is what we study together each weekend in our gatherings, and during the week in small groups throughout the Maltby area. The truth we find is often challenging, always relevent and powerfully transforming.

The ultimate purpose of the church is to worship the One who called it into being. What does worship look like? It's recognizing and declaring God's holiness and our utter dependence on Him. It's giving God what He deserves: our attention, our recognition, our hearts and minds, our response ... our adoration.
On most weekends, you'll experience contemporary music in our gatherings. It's how we often begin our gathering together, to focus our minds and hearts on He whom we have gathered to celebrate. Music is also one of the ways we respond to God after studying His word together and asking the Holy Spirit to show us how He wants to change our lives through what we've heard.
More than mere music, songs of worship are prayers of thanks, awe, need, and devotion that prepare our hearts for change.

Prayer is responding to God through conversation with Him. Because our gatherings exist to seek and respond to God, we pray as a part of worship.
During our time of worship and response, several people within our church community are glad to pray with anyone who would like prayer. They are available on either side of the alter alter toward the end of each gathering. Prayer needs can also be submitted by writing them on a Connection Card and putting the card in an offering bucket, or to submit a prayer request via email, please click here.

Communion is worship through reverent remembrance. It is a direct and obedient response to one of Jesus' last instructions to His disciples. By eating and drinking a small portion of bread and juice, we remember that Christ's death paid for our sins, there is His constant presence and love in our lives, and of His promise to return.
Communion is specifically for those who have placed their faith in Jesus and asked Him to lead their lives. Anyone who has done this is welcome to take communion during our gatherings. Communion elements are available the first Sunday of every month.
Looking for a weekly gathering that's custom fit for your children? Our children's ministries are the place to find it. During our weekend gatherings, committed teams of volunteers strive to create an environment that allows kids to be kids while they safely explore God with all the fun, adventure, and energy they have and we love. Sorry, parents: kids only - unless, of course, you'd like to join our team of volunteers.
